I have had a hard time getting back into blog mode, okay? So I am resorting to a photo of Prince George in a smocked romper. Is that a problem?
I thought not.
Nope, not a problem at all. He’s a sweetheart.
Very adorable! And kind of a reverse ‘baby toss’ pose. The infant pope blessing the adults. I love it!
I think he looks like he’s casting a spell of some sort.
Yes, he’s a veritable wizard — and so serious…
Let’s take a moment to remember all those brave American, British and Canadian souls who landed in Normandy, France by air and sea, as well as those who didn’t make it, on this day 70 long years ago! The first 15 minutes or so of Saving Private Ryan is maybe the best portrayal of the horrors encountered by the Americans at Omaha Beach.
Well, I know. I am aware that it is the anniversary of D-Day, but I just didn’t feel up to a post about it. I always think of old J.D. Salinger landing on Utah Beach and then fighting on through the Battle of the Bulge and the Hurtgen Forest and then at the end of it all liberating some concentration camp. The horror of it all is a lot to take in. I guess I’d rather look at a fat baby today.
Jealous of that romper.
I always say, if there’s anyone who can bring back smocking, it’s Prince George!
